A
real workhorse amp, this is the Fender Twin Reverb 65 reissue. I have two
of these plus real vintage 1966 and 1967 Twin Reverbs. Frankly, these
sound better than I expected a reissue to sound. Practical, loud, nice
sounding and predictable. Not real romantic, just good sound value.
I also have a fairly rare Twin Reverb Custom 15. Instead of the standard 2 12" speakers, it comes from the factory with a 15" speaker voiced to sound like a vintage JBL D130. I took out the stock speaker and replaced it with a vintage JBL D130 from a '60s Bassman cabinet.
